Hello, my name is Ieva Lielā. I am a freelance artist working  in an interdisciplinary manner in various art, culture, social, and therapeutic fields. I am originally from Latvia and have been living and working in Berlin since 2006.

During my first years in Germany, I worked as a filmmaker. The creative environment of the capital inspired me to explore my interests and discover other artistic fields, like acting, writing, painting, dance and music. Through art, I was not only able to develop my personality, but creative work also helped me to overcome difficult periods of my life. Therefore, it also has a therapeutic significance for me.

My projects are linked to socially inclusive and therapeutic work, as well as socio-political topics related to issues of feminism, inclusion, and integration of sexual and other minorities.
