It is time to talk about SEX in the cultural context…
In the spring of 2025, I began working on the experimental music performance “Common Boy”, which deals with the topic of SEX from a female perspective. In a playful, humorous, and at the same time erotic way, it manifests an adult woman’s sexual frustrations, desires, and demands in a direct language that is considered rather inappropriate or even taboo for a woman:
Commonboy, you break my heart
Commonboy, I want you to fuck me hard!
Fuck me tonight
Fuck me tomorrow
Fuck me every day
Fuck me !
Musically, I´m being supported by the musician Cecilia Pez (Badecima). As a professional musician, she not only accompanies me but also encourages, advises, and enthusiastically contributes to the project. The performance is currently under development and will continue to be rehearsed, improvised, and refined.
We are particularly pleased that Common – boy has been selected for the Flinta Literature Festival Girl, show me that body (of work) 2026. The recognition of the project in a cultural context is very motivating; it inspires and encourages us.
